WE'RE CLOUD'S HOME FOR STRAY CATS

Our goal is to provide love and care for all cats

Home: Welcome

ABOUT US

Cloud's Home is a non-profit organization based in San Fernando Valley, CA and seeks to provide food, shelter, homes, and veterinary care for all cats in need. We also seek to reduce the population of cats that do not have a permanent home and to provide information about displaced cats to the community at large. Food based on the needs of the stray cats will be given as often as possible, that is nutritious and age appropriate. Shelter, when allowed, will be setup for cats that cannot be placed into a permanent home, called community cats. Homes for cats that can be socialized is the ultimate goal for every cat. Veterinary care for any cat that requires it will be provided. We seek to reduce the population by spaying or neutering cats before they are placed into a home. This helps to reduce the population of displaced cats.

HOW IT STARTED

Creating a love of animals

LEARNED FROM MY GRANDMA

My Grandma instilled in me that cats are wonderful, playful, smart animals that can bring us joy as a part of our family. I grew up with many pets and always with one or many cats.

FINDING MOMMA

In January 2022, we discovered a family of cats - Momma and her 4 kittens - living in our complex. Other toms were around as well and immediately we began giving food and water while growing their trust.

PREGNANT AGAIN

As the kittens and Momma began to play with us and trust us, I discovered Momma was pregnant again. Her kittens were 6 months and independent (but not keen on being caught), so I brought Momma into our home where she gave birth to 6 kittens the next day. Now we are starting a non-profit to continue to provide care for her and all the strays that we can!
